Cochlear Implant
Programming the Speech Processor:

In order for the cochlear implant to maximize its potential, each implant must be programmed individually by a specialist, an audiologist, specifically trained to perform this function.
Based on the user's report the maximum and minimum current level outputs are set for each electrode. To suit the user best and on the audiologists findings, program parameters and an appropriate speech processing strategy is selected. This function is critical to the successful outcome of the procedure
