In deaf families and Deaf Communities the feeling of loss and endangerment of habits and customs is a reality, as one must consider that in these circles to be deaf is a culture. Therefore we have construed an article in aid of SignGenius to the benefit of all that might consider such a procedure.
This is a very sensitive issue, and should be handled with great compassion and sensitivity as it affects the immediate circle of companions.
